PEACE FOR THE HOLIDAYS AND ALWAYS!

Peace
“The first fruit of our justification is peace with God. To the ancient Jew peace was a precious, but elusive commodity. The present- day turmoil in the Middle- East seems like a replay….
The Jew longed for peace. He yearned for the day when swords would be beaten into plowshares. He waited for the era when the Prince of Peace would come to end the incessant hostilities. So important to the Jew was his quest for peace that the very word peace became a daily greeting. Where we say “hello” or “good by,” The Jew said simply, “Shalom.”    (R.C.Sproul)
In other words, May you find peace with God this Christmas season!  Smile and think!!!

Global Missions Church, Youth Training and Counseling Program held its Lunch and award ceremony, on Sunday November 16th, 2014, at the Tiki Hut in Little Bay. First the youths were met by a warm smiling manager Mr. Marc Pritchard who welcomed the group of fifty-four (54) youngsters and twelve (12) adults. Then, Mr. Pritchard gave the group the declaration list to fill in all the names then led us to the Captain of the Ferry who ensured all the names were written on the form before boarding. Then we boarded the ferry and sailed out into the Great Bay Harbour  and enjoyed a beautiful and exciting sail around Fort Amsterdam, saw and took pictures of great bay as seen by many coming into port. Then dock up to a boat house and platform in a very calm area close to Fort Amsterdam, off the little bay beach called The Ticki Hut. Yes, Marcs’ idea makes all of youngsters happy with lots of smiling faces!!! The adults were surprised and happy to come to such a place to enjoy themselves, danced and sing to the tune of the music. The Lunch was prepared by caterer Sis. Victoria and team, who supervised and served to the enjoyment of everyone,. Then, the youngsters were given motivational pep talk on ways to set goals, stay focus on the goals and not the distractions. The presentations were done by Evangelist Helen Hunt and Evangelist Billy who did a fantastic job of motivating and involving the youths in their discussion.  Then, the youngsters were quizzed on what they learned and did very well at retaining the knowledge imparted to them.  Many of The youngsters then took a swim in the self made pool while several of the older youths swam and snorkeled in the waters, dived and sometimes flipped off the top deck into the water around the perimeter of the platform. Everybody just showed their love and appreciation for the captain Terry Rombley and Zet Richards his assistant for taking such good care while on the trip. Special thanks to Marc Pritcard, His assistant Margriet Nieuwenhoven and staff for their invaluable contribution to our youngsters in this regard. We thank God for graciously giving us good weather for the event which started from 1:00Pm until 5:00PM. Global Missions Church would like to say a special thank to all of our  sponsors both business and individuals  for supporting GMC Youth training and counseling program projects over the years, and especially our Anger management workshops, annual summer camp, lunch and award ceremony . Once again thank You! May God richly bless you!

WHEN YOU DON'T PRAY AGAINST TEMPTATION, SEVERAL IRRESPONSIBLE THINGS CAN HAPPEN !

Based on (LUKE 22:29-62)
(1).we can fall asleep when we should be up praying.
(Luke 22:39-46).
Jesus Prays Alone
39 Jesus left the city and went to the Mount of Olives, as he often did, and his followers went with him. 40 When he reached the place, he said to them, “Pray for strength against temptation.”
41 Then Jesus went about a stone’s throw away from them. He kneeled down and prayed, 42 “Father, if you are willing, take away this cup[d] of suffering. But do what you want, not what I want.” 43 Then an angel from heaven appeared to him to strengthen him. 44 Being full of pain, Jesus prayed even harder. His sweat was like drops of blood falling to the ground. 45 When he finished praying, he went to his followers and found them asleep because of their sadness. 46 Jesus said to them, “Why are you sleeping? Get up and pray for strength against temptation.”
(2). We can find ourselves joining the wrong crowd and still pretend to love Jesus.(vs.47-48).
Jesus Is Arrested
47 While Jesus was speaking, a crowd came up, and Judas, one of the twelve apostles, was leading them. He came close to Jesus so he could kiss him.
48 But Jesus said to him, “Judas, are you using the kiss to give the Son of Man to his enemies?”

(3). We can become violent and missed an opportunity to share our love, forgiveness and healing for those who are spiritually sick.
(vs.47-51).
49 When those who were standing around him saw what was happening, they said, “Lord, should we strike them with our swords?” 50 And one of them struck the servant of the high priest and cut off his right ear.
51 Jesus said, “Stop! No more of this.” Then he touched the servant’s ear and healed him.

(4). we can with swords and clubs treat Jesus and his people like criminals, because the time for darkness sets in and rules us. (Vs.52-53).
52 Those who came to arrest Jesus were the leading priests, the soldiers who guarded the Temple, and the elders. Jesus said to them, “You came out here with swords and clubs as though I were a criminal. 53 I was with you every day in the Temple, and you didn’t arrest me there. But this is your time—the time when darkness rules.”

(5). We can become distance from any relationship with Jesus and his people and are still conscious of it. (vs.54).
Peter Says He Doesn’t Know Jesus
54 They arrested Jesus, and led him away, and brought him into the house of the high priest. Peter followed far behind them.

(6).It can become easy for us to say we don’t know Jesus and his people, because of where we are and with whom we affiliate with. (vs.56-58).
55 After the soldiers started a fire in the middle of the courtyard and sat together, Peter sat with them. 56 A servant girl saw Peter sitting there in the firelight, and looking closely at him, she said, “This man was also with him.”
57 But Peter said this was not true; he said, “Woman, I don’t know him.”
58 A short time later, another person saw Peter and said, “You are also one of them.”
But Peter said, “Man, I am not!”
59 About an hour later, another man insisted, “Certainly this man was with him, because he is from Galilee, too.”
60 But Peter said, “Man, I don’t know what you are talking about!”

(7). The fact that some of us can still allow The Holy Spirit of God to speak to our conscience, it brings us to a painful reality that we have sinned against God and have a chance to be restored by his grace to a holy and prayerful way of living again. (vs.60-b-62).
At once, while Peter was still speaking, a rooster crowed. 61 Then the Lord turned and looked straight at Peter. And Peter remembered what the Lord had said: “Before the rooster crows this day, you will say three times that you don’t know me.” 62 Then Peter went outside and cried painfully.

PRAYER: Say this prayer out loud. “Lord Jesus I need you! Thank you for dying on the cross for my sins. I open the door of my life and receive you as my Savior and Lord. Take control of my life, make me the kind of person you want me to be. Amen”

LET THERE BE PEACE IN ISRAEL !

(Adrian, my Media personal, making his amateur moves to keep the ball in play SC July 2014.  All rights reserved!).

Psalm 125 New Century Version (NCV)

God Protects Those Who Trust Him

A song for going up to worship.

1. Those who trust the Lord are like Mount Zion,
    which sits unmoved forever.
As the mountains surround Jerusalem,
    the Lord surrounds his people
    now and forever.

The wicked will not rule over those who do right.

If they did, the people who do right might use their

power to do evil.

Lord, be good to those who are good,
    whose hearts are honest.
But, Lord, when you remove those who do evil,
also remove those who stop following you.
Let there be peace in Israel.

THE LORD IS MY PROTECTION! WHAT ABOUT YOU?

Psalm 91 New Century Version (NCV)

Safe in the Lord

91 Those who go to God Most High for safety
will be protected by the Almighty.
I will say to the Lord, “You are my place of safety and protection.
You are my God and I trust you.”
God will save you from hidden traps
    and from deadly diseases.
He will cover you with his feathers,
and under his wings you can hide.
His truth will be your shield and protection.
You will not fear any danger by night
or an arrow during the day.
You will not be afraid of diseases that come in the dark
or sickness that strikes at noon.
At your side one thousand people may die,
or even ten thousand right beside you,
but you will not be hurt.
You will only watch
    and see the wicked punished.
The Lord is your protection;
you have made God Most High your place of safety.
10 Nothing bad will happen to you;
no disaster will come to your home.
11 He has put his angels in charge of you
to watch over you wherever you go.
12 They will catch you in their hands
so that you will not hit your foot on a rock.
13 You will walk on lions and cobras;
you will step on strong lions and snakes.
14 The Lord says, “Whoever loves me, I will save.
I will protect those who know me.
15 They will call to me, and I will answer them.
    I will be with them in trouble;
I will rescue them and honor them.
16 I will give them a long, full life,
and they will see how I can save.”

TELL ME ABOUT YOUR LOVE

Psalm 143:8-11New Century Version (NCV)

Tell me in the morning about your love,
    because I trust you.
Show me what I should do,
because my prayers go up to you.
Lord, save me from my enemies;
    I hide in you.
10 Teach me to do what you want,
    because you are my God.
Let your good Spirit
    lead me on level ground.
11 Lord, let me live
    so people will praise you.
In your goodness
    save me from my troubles.

YOU MAY FEEL LEAD TO MAKE A DONATION TO GMC YOUTH AND RELATED PROGRAMS!

To all our viewers and followers, greetings again! Zachary Rowe below here holding the racket in blue jeans is  in need of your urgent help! He has to take a brain surgery to remove a tumor that's resting on his brain. That according to his mother" causes him to have seizures and sometimes even make him do some abnormal things which causes much concerns to family and friends". I myself have had the opportunity to see him acting quite strange and had to rescue him with campers on a couple of occasions over the past (summer camps and other projects for youths) years. His medical analyst from his doctor has shown the scan with area affected etc., and the urgency to act now! His mother Ms. Kiree Bowen  is a single parent and works as a housekeeper, and has no way of paying the expected expenses that this corrective surgery will cost. Therefore, I am appealing to anyone one of our viewers or followers, please give to this worthy cause!
Thanks again for your kind assistance in this pertinent matter.
