Believe the words of Jesus..

Believe the words of Jesus so He can live in  you!

John 17:25-26 (NCV) says,

"25 Father, you are the One who is good. The world does not know you, but I know you, and these people know you sent me. 26 I showed them what you are like, and I will show them again. Then they will have the same love that you have for me, and I will live in them.”

In other words, according to one commentator,

"The world’s people are people who refuse to believe the words of Jesus or of his *disciples. They do not know God. So, the *Devil has *power over them."

Praying sitting in heavenly places.

WE LIFT UP OUR SOUL TO GOD WHEN WE PRAY.

Psalms 25:1 says,

 1.  "LORD, I lift myself up to you."

Someone translated this by saying,

"1)Verse 1 'I lift myself to you' means 'I pray to you'. The word 'myself' is the Hebrew word that we sometimes translate 'soul'. We cannot see our souls. Our soul is the part of us that lives on when our body dies. Paul wrote to the Church in Ephesus: 'God has made us to sit in heaven in Christ Jesus'. (Ephesians 2:6) When we pray it is as though we are in heaven with God. Heaven is the home of God. Christians will go to heaven when they die. They also lift up part of themselves to heaven when they pray."

God bless you

No more a prisoner of pride

No more a prisoner of pride.

Max Lucado said, perhaps to see such a prisoner (of pride)  all you have to do is look in the mirror. "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us".... The biggest word in scripture just might be that two-letter one, if. For confessing sins--admitting failure ---is exactly what prisoners of pride refuse to do."

James 4:6 New (NCV) says,

6 But God gives us even more grace, as the Scripture says,

“God is against the proud,
but he gives grace to the humble.”
Proverbs 3:34 The Lord laughs at those who laugh at him, but he gives grace to those who are not proud.

In other words I rather humble myself, confess my sins and receive God's  grace (His act of kind assistance) on my life! What do you think?  Give it a try today!

God bless you
